I would like to tell you about the convention in Klamath Falls. To start with, at the banquet
Saturday night I put my gavel on the table; next, I got busy talking to someone and when I turned back my gavel was gone! I asked ID Brian Sheehan, “Who was sitting next to me? Did you see what happened to my gavel?" He said, "What gavel?" When it came time to open the meeting he opened his coat and pulled out the gavel and said, "How did this get here?" I said, "Gee,
I really don't know."
After we ate and the awards got started, I was in front of the podium giving out awards and my bell came up missing. Now, who could have done this dastardly deed? When the truth came out it was District G that had the light fingers. They wanted us to make a visit. So On April 14th we made a trip to Bend to pick up the bell. It was all in fun and we had an enjoyable visit with the great Lions in District G.
See you at the MD convention in Medford on May 10, 11 and 12, 2012.
Buster VanderWoude
District Governor
